for context for non-Americans, naperville's strongest association to me as a person living in chicagoland is that at one point during the Obama presidency there was a day where undocumented immigrants went on strike and marched at the federal building downtown to demand action on immigration. the headline the Naperville Sun went with for their coverage of this massive event was "THE DAY THE LAWN WASN'T MOWED", and revolved around the increased hardship for local landscapers. i _think_ it's been scrubbed off the internet by now though.
