Legend tells of a great and beautiful city. Swallowed by the earth and plunged into the depth of the world.
The survivors, surrounded by a lake of malevolent oil, built a new city in the dark. Its foundation, the bloated corpses of millions.
The city now thrives, its brutal conditions pouring more and more dead into its ever sinking foundations.
This year I am building an entire city, my most ambitious project yet. One hundred crumbling houses, on 2x2' boards, in far worse repair than even the city hit by a comet.
Starting small with a few sinking rooftops, titled so that models can be placed on their sharply pointed roofs, I will be revealing the more of Swill, new models, rules and tutorials for building the city.
This test piece has taught me a lot, and I believe I've worked out a simple and fun way to make some German Expressionist hovels using some fun and flavourful work arounds.
Up next: A couple rowhouses, where we will find that the starving and poverty stricken Swillites lack even the basics. Resulting to scratching images of furniture into their walls to make it feel like home.
After all, why cut out windows when you can just draw them on?

Can't wait to show you more.
