Dirt Track Road Map

Hello Everyone!

Just thought I'd lay out a little progress report of sorts.

SCULPTS

MMF: This week, the completed KS and Patreon models will go up on My Mini Factory to buy.

Patreon: Two Snail Knights and six Rootlings are being worked on at the moment. I'm also concepting some pieces for chocolate bar turnip, which ill hopefully be able to show you soon. 

Swill: The Dredge Station Fishmongers and Lamprey's Revolver Rifles are being sculpted. Two little mini sets that will be a starter set of sorts.

Fish walls are done, just getting supported. Looking into making some terrain pieces too, some corner walls, windows and other bits you can add to foamcore. 

Scab Tanks are still in the concept art stage, but are looking sweet.

Kickstarter: Still working away at the stretch goals. Grogs and Bees almost done, entering the final stretch. Also attacking/pokin musket arms out this week or next. No more snapping! 

RULES

Swill: Making good progress recently, will post a google docs demo of the core rules for you to mush about in when its kinda done, and we can just keep adding from there.

I'm going to be expanding things a little to bring in warbands from all the other strange ideas I've had. Salty Skeletons for example. This will allow you to explore the greater turnip world without needing to collect a whole regiment for each one. 

In addition, I'd like to get some testing in with the Tragedy of Rust, the completely untested turnip tank rules. Could a Scab Tank even become a core unit?

Tournament Format: Looking into making a competitive 20 min version of turnip for streaming Anything over 20 minutes and I'll get bored.

More chocolate bar turnips here. Focusing on the easy cults for now, chess clocks, scoring each round, defined unit footprints and some additional tweaks to add a little more balance, strats while maybe allowing the chat to fuck with things and keeping it entertaining to watch.

V17a: Got lots of great feedback from this edition. Will compile all the changes, and push that out before the November turnip con in Bristol.

ART

Painting: Always lots of art to do and commission. It never ends, but its quite fun. The big Swill piece of Lamprey is nearly done. just a lot of fish to do. 

Video: Working on some cool vid content. Painting guides and sad boy animations. 

Streaming: Experimenting with a streaming set up. Could I pull off a bit of an illuminated manuscript vtuber set up. 

LORE

Turnip Tales: Josh Reynolds starts working on a swill short story in October when he's free. That will be great.
