New Cults on the March

With the release of v17 of the Core Rules, its time for some new Cults. Lead by the strange Mercenary Captains, these wild Regiments provide players with more exciting modelling opportunities, devious playstyles, and unenviable headaches.

Playtesting

With the release of v17 of the Core Rules and the new Cults, we will need to do a lot of playtesting. Please don't hesitate to send me your questions or suggestions. I'll be uploading updated versions of the rules as we go, just fixing a few small mistakes as they are found. For example, Harry's Rootlings had the wrong stat line, which is now fixed.

At the moment, some of the major queries I had while designing:

1. Whelps and the Red Ribbon Society. Should we limit capturing Objectives to 1 per order to prevent last turn double/triple capping?

2. Scuttlers: Should they be able to cap objectives?

3. Initiative: Is the new version too swingy? Does the change make a meaningful difference? This will take a lot of games to find out, we can't really theorycraft it.

When playtesting: Please note down if you had the Initiative, and if you won or lost.

4. Rabble: Spawning too dependent on chance?

There's a few others, but tell me what you think. Try out some variations and report back. Which plays better, and which changes should we implement.
