How posts are separated by tier
Added 2020-08-14 22:35:23 +0000 UTCI've had a few questions from some new Patreons about tiers being locked. I'm pinning this message to hopefully clear up the confusion.
Posts are locked to tiers, this way if you are a $10 backer you see only those chapters aimed at your advanced level. so the repeated chapters for the $5 and $3 tiers will show locked to you. This is to make it easier for you to know exactly what chapter you are ready for.
The ones that don't follow these rules are art open to all Patreons, and the public posts.
I also want to point out that chapters have to be pulled down before I publish a book so I don't violate Amazon's terms of service. Which is why a day or two before chapters start coming down. I hope that clears up questions from people about it.
I hope this helps you find your specific posts. If you have questions or concerns feel free to comment, and I'll try to clarify further.

I don't want to put a book up for preorder if I don't have a finished product in hand.

2025-03-25 18:30:08 +0000 UTCIs there a reason you don't have your books up for preorder on Amazon? Most authors allow you to preorder the sequel at the end of a book. I just checked and Amazon doesn't have AR10 yet, even for preorder.

2025-03-20 21:08:09 +0000 UTCThe 80s and 90s were the era of advanced computer strategic games. SSI, Avalon Hill, and SSG in particular. Fantasy Empires might be the closest. It is technically a D&D tie in. Most of those companies ended up owned by Hasbro who laid off their whole staffs on purchase.

2022-02-24 15:15:04 +0000 UTCThat's fair. Though I do have an idea for a fan comic involving Lily and Morrigan having coffee together and swapping stories about their chosen. It'll be a while as I'm learning to draw to do it.

2022-02-02 23:02:54 +0000 UTCAnd now for something out of left field.... I all of a sudden have a heavy feeling of nostalgia. For the Last Horizon characters. I wonder if their new world will tie in with alpha's new world. I've been wondering off and on since 2017. =_)

2021-12-18 04:07:51 +0000 UTCYeah. Some fans had been trying to work it all out, but I think it's kind of fallen off.

2021-11-19 14:52:28 +0000 UTCThe complexity as written is closer to any of the Avalon Hill strategy games from before they were bought out by Milton Bradley. They had games it would take up to an hour to set up, let alone play. Games like 1776, Alexander the Great, Blitzkrieg and others. There are some similar games on computer, but I've never seen one that goes quite into that amount of depth in the individual unit capabilities. Empire's Gambit is like one of those games that I mentioned that people kept refining the rules of, and expanding, for centuries, or that is the impression I get of it. Think about it: They have entire BOOKS devoted to rules and strategies for the game.

2021-05-31 12:38:37 +0000 UTCWell, with great regret I have to change my commitment to a lower tier as my funds have started to dry up some. I still love all your stories and will continue to buy them as they come out. Keep up the good fight. π

2020-08-27 13:48:11 +0000 UTCHow does paying annually affect tiers?
Pamela J Smith
2020-08-27 11:25:45 +0000 UTCCorrect you can filter by tier to find them quicker if you are just looking for chapters.
Daniel Schinhofen
2020-08-15 01:24:15 +0000 UTCThe top tier is a chapter ahead of $5, and the $5 is 1 chapter ahead of $3.
Daniel Schinhofen
2020-08-15 01:23:39 +0000 UTCI see it now, you're essentially posting each chapter 3 times. I just need to track down the posts for my tier rather than looking at the lower tier's chapters.
Gavin Lawrenson
2020-08-14 23:20:36 +0000 UTCSo essentially $10 backers see all $5 see most and $3 see a few just to summarize?
