oooo this is an interesting theory too actually! I like that you brough up the detail of them appearing and disappearing suddenly too, I'm kinda liking this idea. part of me was hoping the report was going to mention something about Eve haha cause I am just patiently waiting to see wtf is gonna happen there

I just sort of glossed over it and moved on when I first saw this episode, and same with the machine's head falling off at the Abandoned Factory in the game. It never really gets explained, but maybe this episode does explain it. Because the machines suddenly appear at Adam's table out of nowhere, and then they all suddenly disappear, I'm now reading this scene as an abstraction of the machine network. Like they contacted Adam over the network and when he kicked the machine's head off, that forced the machine offline and he actually killed it remotely? And that's why the machine was already dead by the time 2B reached it. In the game, that act would have been done by Eve instead but it wasn't shown to us like it is in the anime? That's my theory anyway lol Ad break transition messages for Episode 10: [Report] It has been found that humanity has always sought the causes of problems outside itself. 2024-09-01 20:36:37 +0000 UTCYeah i am kinda wondering what's with Become as Gods here aswell but my theory is that those robots were part of Adam's network and YoRha picked a signal that there were multiple machine lifeforms assigned to Adam and thought he was there i believe? And since Adam is reading a lot of books he forced them to honor Eve becoming a god maybe, idk. Anyway thank you for another reaction Luni and have a good rest of the evening <3.
