Genuinely curious to know people's thoughts on this anime if they've watched it prior to playing the game or without any game knowledge. There are so many easter eggs and little things that I imagine people who hadn't played the games before wouldn't understand and could potentially just leave people confused... but I do wonder if there are people who enjoyed it even without playing/previous knowledge!

Definitely appreciated the comic relief in this episode to help break the tension a bit. Pascal and Big Sister in the beginning cracked me tf up! Always love how Little Sister is the big one and Big Sister is the little one too. I agree about the philosophy discussions!! Exploring what it means to be human and to be alive, and doing so through the lens of conflicting androids and machine lifeforms. Replicant may have the more engaging characters, but Automata definitely makes ya think. Very interesting that the post-credits scene talks about the Kingdoms of Day & Night here. I know there are references to the day/night cycle in some of the NieR quests, but as far as I know the "Kingdom of Night" has only been called by that name in side materials until now.
