Slim Server or How not to place a commission
Added 2023-01-06 19:25:24 +0000 UTCKathy and Nancy are both special girls but both are broke, one works at IHOP and the other at Denny's. They were offered a chance to make a lot of money. Now they just have to fuck up the chick standing in their way.
This is a commission I just finished and I would like to take this chance to clear up a few dos and don'ts when placing a commission for those interested.
This image started as two slim flat chested serving girls facing off in a motel before they fight. Clothed in serving outfits.
Always have a clear idea of the image you want with references for the pose and look of the characters and of course the background for the image. Be realistic in your "vision." Everything you add takes more time to create for example. I send a initial rough of your idea and then allow 2 revisions as we fix things to match your expectations, that does not mean a complete change of the original order.
We do not go from Wild West to Future Worls as a revision change. I only block so much time for an order depending on it's size so 10 revisions as this one had requires a repricing. I obviously am not doing this for the money but I only have so many hours in a day and my time does have value to me.
A few changes~Hair color and style, breast size changes 3x as well as skin tone. They became Futa's, the face of one gal changed 3 times. Several other minor and 2 major setting changes which were dropped as more changes were wanted.
In the end the Patron was very happy and I was pissed off, then I laughed. He apologized profusely but this is an exercise I cannot do again. So please, if you want a commission come prepared.๐

2023-01-06 23:35:59 +0000 UTCWow, I did not realize how much work went into this one. I think everything you said is pretty reasonable so I'm happy the patron understood the issues and apologized. Hopefully people take to this heart when they order commissions from anyone. Its rarely the only job artists have so they really can only dedicate so much time.
