Charge Up Front Results

I have some news regarding the swap to charge up front. I assumed that when it was activated, any new patron who'd pledged since the last payment cycle would immediately be charged. This appears NOT to be the case.
Instead, only patrons who pledge AFTER charge up front is activated are charged immediately. This is very silly.
Basically, this month, I have patrons charged at the start of the month, patrons who won't be charged until the start of the next month, and patrons who've been charged immediately.
I ran a little test with a patron-only post, to see if people without a processed pledge could view it. It appears they can. That complicates things. For THIS MONTH ONLY, I will be manually sending passwords to any new patrons and will be checking for processed pledges on a daily basis.
I am very sorry for the inconvenience of this: I'm as irritated as you, I assure you. I'm going to contact Patreon support and see if we can solve this.
