PokéSins Copyright Update - Unstruck

Hey all, I have some good news and some bad news. I'll do the good news first.

The 14 day countdown has ended and ShoPro's copyright strike on my channel has been removed! I am back to a 100% good standing channel. This removes a lot of the uncertainty regarding the future of my channel as well as, logically, any uncertainty about PokéSins' legality.

Where it gets awkward, however, is the bad news. The episode is still blocked. Why the hell is it still blocked when ShoPro essentially admit that the video is fine? No idea. I've informed my network of this development, but as it happened after the working day ended and it's a friday, it's unlikely I'll hear anything from them before monday.

What this means is that PokéSins is still frozen until I can find out how this affects me going forward. Honestly, I expected the video to be viewable once the strike was removed.

I shall continue making episodes in the interim and I shall keep you guys informed. This is also a prime example of why I have yet to talk about this in a G-Log... The solution is always 'a few days away'...

That's one idea, but Facebook's video system is frankly terrible. Not to mention it's got a shocking reputation for video theft and reposting. Add to that the fact that I wouldn't earn any money from it and I#m inclined to wait.

You could always move PokéSins to Facebook for the time being? Then when everything's sorted, bulk upload to videos on Facebook onto Youtube before resuming Youtube from the next episode at that time

Danni Disaster

That's definitely what happened; the 14 days ran out and it automatically ruled in my favour. But legally that means they have accepted that I'm in the right; they had the duty to deny in the time and they didn't.

Is it possible that strikes get removed by default if ShoPro -in this case- responds too late? I have no clue either why this is, but maybe that's a thing and a reason why it is back in the original state? Or is it certain ShoPro actually responded?
