PokéSins Ep61 Update - Delayed

Hang on. Before you roll your eyes and mutter about this, I have some good news and I think you'll understand my decision to delay.

As you are probably aware, the Dratini and Porygon episodes have been blocked by ShoPro on the grounds of copyright. Basically they got flagged as usual and I disputed as usual. Unusually, however, the disputes were denied manually by ShoPro and the videos became unavailable.

I immediately contacted my YouTube network, Ritual, for their advice. They then went to YouTube to talk about getting this sorted. I've been informed that YouTube is on my side in this. Ritual is currently in the process of talking to ShoPro directly.

That is good news. It means the banned episodes will be back. It may even mean that future episodes don't get flagged or will be quickly unflagged.

The bad news is that this may take up to a week to be settled fully. Given this relatively short resolution period (most of the time I have to wait a month), I think it best to wait until I get the green light before throwing another inevitable flag into the ring; when negotiating a peace treaty, you don't keep shooting.

I'm working on Ep61 to have it ready for Friday, but I'll hold off its release until I get the go-ahead from Ritual and, hopefully, ShoPro. I hope I've explained this well enough and that you all understand my position. If it winds up being longer than we're expecting (for whatever reason), I shall release it anyway as I don't want to keep you guys waiting longer than I have to.

I won't be posting publicly about this until it's all sorted as I have to be brief on Twitter and I don't want to have to do another video updating when things are resolved. Overall this is good news and I want to thank you all for showing your support here on Patreon; you guys are how I survive this kind of problem.
