Comments

Hey, just wanted to say that this episode changed me in a significant way. Kollontai, like Luxemburg, was a true visionary and I sincerely think Dr. Ghodsee does her justice instead of tokenizing her and besmirching her legacy as I unfortunately have seen some do. I furthermore wholeheartedly appreciate Ghodsee's critical lens and it has inspired me to start thinking much more critically and less dogmatically about especially the early USSR, its legacy, and its implications for the Left. We don't get anywhere by saying "X person did everything wrong/right", "X either didn't happen, or if it did it must have been good ans justified", or by simply getting defensive when guests criticize figures we might have certain preconceived notions about. I feel that we must truly strive for a "ruthless criticism of everything that exists", and I thank you Breht for imo truly embodying this sentiment here at Rev Left and for platforming many different varieties of discourse.

Those were so cool, right?

I know this is unrelated but you should do a call-in show again. I think you did that a few times with Dr. Bones back in the day.
