He has held her and talked to her,she's made him smile and he's cared for her,pretty much as real as a character in a graphic novel(or is it novela?) can be. I think he means that the taint is a myth. Also can't get over how giddy Milo looks at knowing he helped his godfather(or uncle if thats how Milo refers to Oakewood)
