Jonas is definitely our new source of "foreign strength," which is now one of my favorite terms thanks to you. Bogut, Ezeli, Zaza, and now Jerebko. He's like a bigger, stronger, more confident Casspi. He has that extra level of competitiveness that we need from our bench, which I think we can see in his +/- and clutch shooting.

That will Be fun not sold on his defense yet. But he has already proved me wrong.

Dude no shit. I mean literally our second string point guard (if Livingston isn't playing which he seems to not be much lately) was in the D league last year.
Looney wouldn't have been playing as much anywhere else. If at all. We gave them minutes in big moments throughout the last few season and it's paid out dividends.
And let's talk about Damien Fucking Jones. From getting DNPed most of last season. To starting with the best of the best and doing what he's there to do. Lock down defense on bigs (Seriously watching him defend against the Kiwi was astonishing, I no longer worry about losing to OKC), dunk it home when you get fed, set solid screens, rebound the ball and run the floor. And I'll be damned if he's not doing it better than the starting centers the last three years combined.

They are talking about zo replacing Iggy in the death line up when his knees start acting up, something I would want to see when we play better teams.Quinn defense too trash for him to be on the court mckinnie and jj taking all of them.

it was 10 in a half to break the record. and i don't see a clip of it in the highlights that are floating around

Beautiful to watch Klay go automatic like that. And yeah, man McKinnie is going to be the surprise Warriors find of the season. They keep finding these diamonds, but even more, their Player Development and their patients and their team chemistry to get new guys going I think is unmatched in the history of the NBA. It is truly awe-inspiring to see how well this staff put every single player in the position where they can do the maximum good. I mean Javale McGee is having the freaking season of his life on the Lakers and it is thanks to what he showed out in two seasons with the Warriors. He had not made that training camp spot I think he'd have been out of the league at this point, playing overseas or something... I've been thinking at some point of attending a Saigon Heat game, since I know a couple people who work for the organization. If you're at all interested in seeing how basketball is played in Southeast Asia let me know. Should be good for a laugh...

Alch, thanks for making time for McKinnie! Big moment was Steph's assist to Klay for 3-pointer number 13, tying Steph's record (all of Steph's assists were to Klay).

Klay tied Chandler Parsons for most 3’s in a half which is 10! I was surprised Klay drove on that last play where he got called for a double dribble.
You can hear Fitz and JB saying “He got time!” But he drove instead of pulling up to get 11 threes! It’s all good tho!

How do we tune into your live Halloween video? You already know, your boy’s life revolves around two things: the bag and Warriors basketball.

Like you said, this teams chemistry is absolutely astonishing. Look at any other team in the league and they aren't on GSW's level chemistry wise. Which begs the question. Who has the second best chemistry in the NBA? I'd guess Boston but I don't watch enough of their games to know.

A bit of off-court news. Joe Lacob apparently wanted to stiff the city of Oakland for $40M in stadium debt for the Colliseum, but an arbiter ruled a few days ago that ownership is obligated to pay. Of course this is good for the Town, but it likely limits how much spending ownership can manage to pay for luxury taxes. If I were ownership, I'd take into account all long-term gains from keeping a Dream Team Dynasty alive, especially to sell out all games in a new arena with a potentially more fickle game-attending fanbase. Anyway, he has $40M less in the wallet, which everyone should be aware of.

Thanks for the vids still Alch! I don't got 3 hours anymore for the NBA but I sure as hella got 20 minutes for Uncle Alch.
I swear someone is watching your videos man. You always mention something needs to happen and then it happens.
Question for you: I really liked Jabari Parker's game when he came into the league, but as you point out he was out of the Yung Bucks squad first (not counting MCW) and he's playing garbage minutes on this Bulls squad. Whats your take? You think he's not a good lockerroom guy or do you think it's something else?

Yo Alch, you get the feeling Kerr told the guys to go wild on record chasing this season? He keeps telling the media his mantra this year is to "play with joy" or whatever, but he can't really make it public if he told them to go for as many records as they want. He needs a way to keep them engaged and this is likely the most talented/stacked team that we will ever see in our lifetimes across all sports. I could see him letting them know that and telling the team "Hey look if you guys want to set some unbreakable NBA records, you're never gonna have a better opportunity than this season."
This could explain why they're off to such a blazing hot start when really not much has changed since last season.

This was one of those nights where it's hard to see any of those guys putting an end to the magic, and Klay was saying all the right things after the game, like he knows exactly who he is and exactly what he wants; KD as well. And I can't imagine the ownership not willing to do what they have to to put the best product on the new floor next year. Really to me it's what kind of other deals Bob might be considering, related to the support structure once you get beyond Klaymond Currant, especially since Boogie's just stopping by for a quick beer. The three pieces most in question have to be Iggy, Dot and Loon, given money, age and free agency. But I hate even talking about it, because so much of the heads talk today was about LA Klay, wishing it to be so, that post the NYKD blues of this weekend, and I just want to focus on enjoying what should continue to be a truly unbelievable year for us dubbers.

i really hope the warriors org makes a conscious effort to remain loyal to klay. might not be the best business decision, but its the best moral decision. he deserves a reserved spot on the warriors until his retirement. he is easily going down in warriors lore
