Thank you for letting us know about this 🙏 it certainly was not the intent at all. We will be more mindful in the future, especially with the upcoming book by Kamala Harris. Thanks!

Hi guys, I've been a longtime fan since 2023 and each week I greatly appreciate and eagerly anticipate each new episode and appreciate hearing fellow Gen Z guys have such articulate and educated takes that go beyond buzzwords; you both clearly have read extensively on these topics and are truly moral young men. I appreciate your nuanced takes on all of the political oddities occurring in The Big 25. 😎 It means a lot to me that this podcast exists and I hope you are both doing well during this insane and turbulent time under Orange Man lol. But because I care I just wanna let you know something: when me and my gf were listening to the episode, towards the very end my gf told me she was uncomfortable with the phrasing you guys used about Kamala Harris, specifically about her "not being able to handle the pressure" echoes/mirrors sexist rhetoric used by Republicans on why she couldn't be president. It didn't seem fitting for the context of the statement. Harris of course isn't perfect but we were a little confused by the sheer harshness of critique towards her that seemed a little emotionally charged. Just wanted you to know that discussing her in that specific way might make female listeners a bit uncomfortable, at hearing 2 white guys discuss an accomplished black woman who represented the chance for a new time of hope for them, to be boiled down to just another woman who 'can't take the heat' of politics. I know this was probably not the intention, but maybe just keep this in mind when discussing her or other female politicians in the future that the verbiage you choose might need to be reframed a bit; just seems like language that wouldn't be used even for a mediocre male figure like Pres Biden. My gf felt it was strange and I agreed. Anyway, I too am a white male and I'm always learning how to present myself in a way that doesn't come across or equate to bigotry. But my gf, a woman of color and sociology major (+beautiful genius), had a very negative reaction to that, so I figured this would be worth sharing. Appreciate you guys and hope you are doing well, looking forward to the next episode.

Excellent cold open, Jeremy! Gage, it’s understandable that you might have had trouble processing because of what you experienced at MSU. Things like that last and resurface in unexpected ways
