MARKET RESEARCH: Possible New HITO Project (Feedback Wanted)

Given Trump's victory, a lot of us are saying "shit, where do we go from here?"
The future is unknowable, but as we all attempt to find an answer to that question, we are thinking of expanding HITO's primary operation to include an interview series where we talk to different established leftists, organizers, influencers, etc. about their area of expertise, what to watch for under a Trump admin 2.0, and what we can do to ensure the Democrats don't throw another goddamn election this hard again.
In concept, this interview series (currently untitled) would be in addition to the normal weekly drops (likely 1-2 separate pods a month), ranging from 30-45 minutes. Early access for Patrons, per usual. Our goal would be to include a range of diverse voices from the left, heavily driven by what you all want to see and hear.
Please drop your thoughts & feedback below! Any criticism or suggestions are welcome, including recommendations for people you'd want to hear from on this kind of series (within reason, we don't have infinite reach, so huge figures like Bernie or AOC are probably out of the question).

Love this idea guys. When the whole discord on ‘we need more democrat media’ happened post election I immediately said we need a HITO empire. Joined the patreon to help that happen. You guys have good chemistry and vibes. I might recommend even doing a non political episode on a regular basis where you talk about anything that interests you guys, maybe talk apes, weed, and aliens? Seems to have worked for a certain influential podcaster haha

Or maybe toss in a “Conservatives Anonymous” ep with reformed right-wingers for some wild stories. Excited for the chaos!

But what that looks like here in the US is we create awareness of problems happening with Filipinos in the Philippines and Filipino Americans as well. Also a step further by fighting for Filipinos rights everywhere. We do that by protesting with labor unions, organize in college campuses and fight for students and Filipino students rights on campus. We also try to advocate for voting in politicians who will listen to our problems and help pass bills to take steps in the right direction.” They also fight back against American imperialism, because the government in the philippines is still used as a puppet for the US military, because of where they are geographically.

I find hope in my ability to organize at a local level where enacting change is not such a huge mountain to climb.

One thing I’ve been seeing this past week is a feeling of panic and it would be helpful to hear from activists who have been working for years and how they manage feelings, avoiding burnout, etc.
