2023-12-13 14:32:06 +0000 UTCas a starbucks shift supervisor(bc i’m able to look at the numbers) starbucks has definitely taken a crazy hit!! my store is one of the busiest within my area and our sales have cut in half. usually during the weekend we are getting 1000+ customers. And this last weekend especially, we only hit about 600. We are also now being forced to upsell, we have a whole packet for each week now that we have to sign whenever we upsell on a food or drink. As well starbucks just released a very very broad statement on their stance on israel and their unions. while reading it, it seemed like they were still going to support israel. As well as not taking back their lawsuit against Starbucks united

Bug’s Life happened to be playing for a group of elementary-aged kids that I see daily and it sparked a very interesting and long conversation. I’m trying to have more of those engaging conversations ab human rights/rights of workers/basic empathy that isn’t just me shoving my ideals down their throats❤️❤️
