July Progress

It turns out that returning home is not that easy either. Right now, most of my time goes to commissions to earn money and find a way to return home or settle down elsewhere. I did manage to find some free time to make some progress on the scene I've been working on for the last few months (hurts even to think about how slow my progress is right now).

Even while I'm lucky compared to most other people who suffer from war it still pretty much ruined my life. I don't know what the next month will bring, I don't know if I'll ever find peace and quiet again. This project is one of the few things that helps me to keep going. I set out to make a cartoon and I have to finish it someday. The fact that most of you guys are still supporting me means the world to me.

Thank you very much!

Thank you! This project and the Dark Heresy game I'm running with my friends (all of them are alive and I'm really happy about it) are the last two things I have left from my normal life. And I still cling to both. And it seems it's like that for my friends too because I see their enthusiasm about the game while there are air raid alerts in their cities.

It's funny that you mention that. I keep thinking about GSC Game World working on S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2, based out of Kyiv... they were in their office when the shells started to hit. Now a lot of them are both fighting an actual invasion, and continuing to work on the game in spite of everything; and everyone over here keeps wondering why they haven't called the whole thing off. I have to remind them that of course they haven't called it off—it's a sense of normalcy, and a promise of a future. That's precious at times like these. I look forward to your animation!
