Update?!

Yes. I've decided to not take on sponsorships for a while, so that I can pursue making animations and YouTube videos without strict deadlines. This is a risky financial decision so I'm trying to bring more people to Patreon by offering more benefits and changing the tier structure.

Before I officially promise anything, I want do a test run to see if I can execute it without too much trouble, so that's what this October is all about. Hopefully next month will be when everything is finalized.

What are my plans?

These are the current plans for the new tier names, pricing, and benefits.

Most of the benefits are scheduled to be once per month.

So for tier 3, the highest tier at the moment, that is for people who get access to "office hours" and the Q and A streams. The Q and A will be a stream on Discord with a live text chat. Ask questions live or submit questions before the stream. The office hours will be time that I make public beforehand, where I'll be in a Discord chat room and people can drop in and talk to me directly, 1 on 1, ask questions or just hang out, but if there is a line of people I will limit how much time is spent with each person to try to see as many people as possible in the time I allow. The idea is to record these and then post them back to Patreon for people who weren't there.

The recordings will be available to tier 2 as well. Tier 2 is the one with most of the new stuff.
Supporter events on Discord like watch parties and playing games. Update videos where I talk about my plans and what I've been doing with my life. Behind the scenes videos that are more focused on ongoing projects, how I come up with ideas, plan, and execute them. I have other fun ideas but they would only be happening occasionally. Everything else would be once per month or more often.

I would like to hear people's thoughts. What you like, what you don't.

October and November will definitely be transitional months, so I might make some of the benefits available to more tiers so that people can see if they like it or not.
