You'll have to ask an expert. I often use guns for reference that are laying around the shop or that I took photos of. I think this one is a Bergara. The idiom is Japanese. Japanese language is made from Chinese characters, so the Kanji are primarily Chinese. Put simply, the onyomi is a pronunciation derived from Chinese (where kanji originated), while kunyomi is the Japanese pronunciation of a kanji. I am not surprised if there is overlap.
