New BDR!

With your help the past few months, I have put the funds towards purchasing the first upgrade in building a new computer so I can offer Livestreams and edit videos again! This was an unexpected priority to obtain for me, but I needed a new optical drive because mine had recently failed and it prevented me from reading any of my backup data disks (with all my art, data, videos, etc) that I need to access for projects, as well as preventing me from easily giving my computer a clean install of the operating system and programs.
I also backup huge amounts of data and like to have physical disk copies of everything for achieving that I keep in two separate locations for safe keeping. It's cheaper than a cloud backup service and more reliable than a hard drive/server. So it was worth it to invest in a BluRay burner, because it's getting hard to rely on the "small size" of DVDs these days with how big my project files tend to get (because HD video footage). I'm a bit of a data whore and love cataloging all my stuff, so I'm real excited to be able to have my first piece of up-to-date technology in years to help me out where I need it!
Also, I have had to be absent from the online world for... well, months really, due to unfortunate life circumstances including a huge social change and housing situation. This also meant I hadn't been able to reward you guys properly for your awesome support. So starting August 2014, I will be planning some special things for you guys and getting back on track after my big local convention, Rocky Mountain Fur Con. I'll be contacting you all individually if we have plans to work out or discuss here too. I'll keep you guys posted.
