I've also been loving this story so I feel bad that I'm commenting specifically about a typo. I saw Weber's comment but there's also a missing 'a' in the second panel where it currently says "I was just little boy full of with hopes and dreams". I believe it should read "I was just a little boy, full of hopes and dreams" (though full with hopes and dreams reads just fine)

I just caught up in this story, and I’m loving the developments within each chapter. Can’t wait to see what the future holds!!

Nigel's displacement of his little boy rage is understandable. Yes, the Tree of Life is not the person who caused his parents to turn away from him, his parents are. But the logic line isn't impossible to make. And if he spent X amount of days stewing, *homeless*, then... yeah.

Honestly, I hope the Tree goes and scolds the parents, with Nigel in her arms, telling them to apologize for what they did. Then, to add insult to injury, tell them that their bloodline can no longer submit children to her to be considered guardians. That would be fitting.
