I would absolutely do an 80s melodrama lol. That'd probably be far on in the future, but I think I could totally do a Windy City style homage movie. I've got a couple of movies written, but they were postponed because of Covid. One is a dramedy I wrote that's spinoff of my movie Midnight Heat, and the other is the Hallmark Christmas movie parody. They'll get made, but I'm not sure when, since as soon I'm done with the 1982 in Film episode I'll be working on my book.

BTW, during your livestream for "Another Cinema Snob Movie" awhile back, I superchatted you a question about whether you'd want to make a movie in the style of an 80s melodrama. Laura and a few others seemed very keen on the idea! lol. It would probably be very challenging, but I bet it'd be fun, too! :)

It was always the first thing I put on the TV when I got home from school, and I had a vhs that I would record all the videos on and then rewatch them later. The VJ that was always on the most during those hours when I was watching was Mark Goodman, so he's the one that always pops in my head first when I think of the VJs.
