Hello everyone^^

Today I have something very special for you since my mother wants to decorate her living room with my art, she asked me to paint our beloved dog, Susi^^ The sweet Chihuahua-Pug mix is one of the loveliest creatures I ever met and a total precious :heart: Seriously, I love her very much and this is why this painting is very special and important to me.

In this piece, I tried to capture Susi as good as possible, even though it's not photo-realistic, I tried to make her recognizable and show her typical smile-like expression with her teeth coming out and her lower lip hehe. I also tried to work in her loyal eyes and the pretty eyelashes she has plus some whiskers. So many details to work on here but I think it was worth it and doesn't look too shabby.

Of course painting is never easy and even if I tried to paint her fur and many hairs as detailed and correct as possible, it sure isn't perfect. Especially her eyes don't look right to me, a thing I wanna improve in the future though. Still, I think I can call it a piece I'm proud of and one that we can remember our beloved little girl for^^ It's gonna be on my mother's wall soon!
It might also not be the last one since she asked me to paint our cats, as well. So stay tuned for more pet portraits in the future XD
