Standing in the Rain

I've got a new painting for you which actually has no real purpose and yet looks very satisfying to me^^
Inspired by :iconvixiearts:' incredible artwork, I felt like doodling a more Disney-ish looking Donkey, I relaly don't know why but hey, here it is :D
This idea just came to my mind, giving the animal a more or less derpy and funny while speechless expression being surprised by the rainy weather or something that happened a few seconds ago, who knows? Do you have an idea on what could have happened to him or is it just the weather making him all wet and cold?
I do have to say it was lots of fun painting him, using my favourite brushes so far and actually pretending painting on a real canvas, only digitally now lol. Playing around with colours in a more torquoise or blue-ish tone resulting from the sky and clouds. What was a little challenging though was adding his coat markings like the white and black snout or white belly in the end, I should have done that earlier to make them a bit clearer to see, but yeah. I learn from it for the future :D
In the end I'm pleased with how this looks and it was fun working on it :D
