This month I've done something a little different. We are very proud to announce "Buried in the Bahamas", an introductory adventure zine for Pirate Borg.

These past 2 years have really been incredible. As I type this, some of the Limithron team and I are sailing from New Providence Island to the Exumas in the Caribbean. Tonight we will playtest this adventure IN THE BAHAMAS. I've never typed a cooler sentence in my life, and it's all thanks to you, my trusty pirate crew!

I think The Curse of Skeleton Point, the adventure in the Pirate Borg core book, is a great way to start a Pirate Borg campaig. But for gamers coming from 5e, and for gamers new to TTRPGS, the rules-light, sandbox nature of it can be a little daunting. "What do you mean we can go anywhere?" So this zine is designed to steer your path a big more, at least to start. It starts with a deadly, cineamatic encounter and unfolds into a island crawl, and throughout there are annotated GM tips and suggestions to help you find your way.

This beta version (and the final version later) is available to you as Patreon, and we will be printing copies of the zine which will be available at conventions later this year (possibly Origins, definitely Gen Con, GameHoleCon, and PAX Unplugged) and on our web store when it launches with the public release of Pirate Borg at the end of the summer. More on that later.

We will be creating a 5th Edition stats and Foundry Modules for this thing over the coming weeks and will update this post.

Note: Quartermasters patrons only have access to the one-page dungeon "The Caves of Seven Skulls", plus the art and map assets for it.
