Chandra Taal or the 'Moon Lake' is a small lake (about 4km in circumference) located in the Himachal Pradesh state of India. While not as big as the lakes in Ladakh, ChandraTal is definitely one of the most beautiful lakes I have seen.
Because of its small size the water in the lake is perfectly still when there is no wind. The entire lake is like a well polished mirror reflecting the peaks and glaciers of the magnificent Chandra - Bhaga mountain range. I camped for 2 days next to the lake to capture these time-lapse images.
