A lot of ppl consider Bram Stokers version to be 'canon'. Just like any breathing thing...some vamps r gd some r bad. As w most book adaptations the movie is just an outline....only so much time. The series gives a lot more detail & now there r spinoffs. Modern stories draw ppl bc of the drama. They're more like soap operas & reality shows than the old scary ones🤣
