In this episode we talk about censorship and the structure of conversation and have some interesting disagreements. I love having Henry on, and I hope you enjoy listening to the episode as much as I enjoyed recording it. I particularly enjoyed his end, where you get to hear him juggling high academic thinking with (literally) wrestling a baby, so I recommend you check that out. I know he was frustrated that he didn't get to explore the ideas he was addressing in as nuanced a way as he wanted, but I loved it.

What a great crossover! Both parts! You've brought up something about certain bookshops that I couldn't quite articulate before. There's one near me and I mainly only go in there for the boardgames. They have a monthly "Drag Queen Story Time" in there too which is fine and fun. But the idea of 'preaching to the converted' rings a bell here. I'm single and don't have kids and never would I have thought this would be a decision I would have to make when choosing books for kids!
