Still catching up, but here’s what we're up to last week:
Added New Lore Snippets: Added in a set of notes and small objects tying more lore into the Prologue build.
Revamped New WW Environment: Slightly revamped the new WW environment added in from the full release (changed lighting and added in smaller details such as rubble, leaks, drips, etc, along with more specialized ambient sounds). Also added in small (lore focused) environmental puzzle.
Restructured New Light Shift Puzzles: Restructured/simplified light shift puzzle from revamped WW environment to be more straightforward and less confusing. (to help gradually ramp light shift puzzle difficulty)
Continued Level Streaming Optimization: Continued implementing optimized streaming for faster load times and smoother transitions across all levels and areas in the Prologue. Most recently improved performance in heavier sections of WW.
Continued General Optimization: Continued general optimization across all levels in Prologue build including more model reductions and better scalable settings.
Revamped All UI screen FX: Revamped all UI screens by swapping out prerendered videos for dynamic in-game material FX for a much better tactile feel and better hover and click animations. Also added in updated UI sounds. (Note: Slightly worse performance compared to video, but planned to be optimized this week)
Bug fixes: Squashed ~10 smaller & bigger bugs in the Prologue build. (mainly related to revamped puzzles)
