Here’s what we’ve been up to:
TV Split Transition: Added in TV Split transition from Full Release into Prologue build.
Added New Light Shift Mechanic: Added new reflect light puzzle from full release into Prologue build.
Finalized Lumen Lighting for CM & BS: Finalized Lumen lighting polish in CM and BS, with improvements in light draw distances, fog scaling, and dynamic attenuation tweaks.
Continued Level Streaming Optimization: Continued implementing optimized streaming for faster load times and smoother transitions across all levels and areas in the Prologue. Most recently vastly improved performance in the main Playplace area.
Improved Audio Specialization: Added in occlusion, reflections, and HRTF for various sounds throughout all levels. (Using a combination of Atmoky, FMOD, and custom coded reflection calculations in UE)
Added in New Animations: Implemented first iterations of new animations ([Entity To Be Announced] & Smile) for Main Challenges in CM (Smile Chase) and BS in Prologue & started optimization.
Continued General Optimization: Continued general optimization across all levels in Prologue build including mainly model reductions and nanite overdraw.
Many bug fixes: Squashed ~20 smaller & bigger bugs in the Prologue build. (mainly related to new light shift mechanic & TV Split Transition)
