Here’s what we’ve been up to this week:
Added Tentative Basement Challenge into Prologue: Added in the main challenge in The Basement from the full release into the Prologue! We’re not sure on keeping this in yet unfortunately because of bugs and optimizations:/ But we’re hopeful!
Improved Dynamic Narration: Fixed bugs and added some extra lines and randomization into some dynamic narration scenes (Dynamic Narration: Narration triggers that play different scenes based on which path the player has taken.)
Vastly Improved 3D FX for Narration: Recomputed 3D audio FX for all Narration
Continued Lumen Lighting Optimization: Continued refining dynamic lighting in the updated Playplace area.
Added in Parallax Swap for Geo in Low Settings: Added in parallax versions of geo heavy flat-ish meshes (popcorn ceilings, brick walls, carpets, & nets) to be swapped out in low settings.
Updated Prologue level streaming: Now fully laid out for seamless transitions and pacing.
Bug fixes: Squashed ~5 small and large bugs in the Prologue build.
