Survey Results + Details for nerds

Hello folks!

It is I, Ref, when we asked for a survey we thought it might be a good idea to give you an explanation of our results and what they could mean. I love doing this and so this post for nerds will be handled by me (Yes I know you’re wondering, I live a very exciting life).

In terms of statistics, we’re just looking at basic histograms, with the y-axis showing the number of people who voted, and the x-axis showing what they voted for.



This was fairly split with most people feeling like there is a good amount, however, more could be done. Our posts can be sporadic at times, with our current schedule being large posts and updates every other week with any surprise posts being in the empty week. Due to this, we have made some changes to our posting schedule. Additionally, due to game development and social management being separate teams, communication and availability of content are lacking, making it difficult to follow a consistent schedule. That is one thing we are heavily attempting to fix.



I was expecting to be thrown into the fire with this, but for the most part, I was pleasantly surprised! Now, this does not mean we will compromise on quality but along with this, reading the comments on what people would like i.e. the nerdy details more game content and leaks are desired. And as said in the previous graph we will be attempting to fix this! In terms of specific types of content, mechanics, demos, and polls are the biggest ones. Unfortunately, we cannot dictate demos as easily because of the time it takes and due to several teams working on different components, it is hard to get everything out. However, in the meantime, I do hope to provide anything of interest without spoiling too much.

 This is something that I expected to be a bit more decisive because from a personal perspective (that does not represent the teams behind subliminal) I expected it to be a lower rating which partially is the case. This has been brought up and hopefully, we can get more community input, as for responses in terms of the game, it has been quite positive! And a dramatic change in sentiment around the game on social media although there is still a group of the community who rightfully are quite cynical (cough Instagram and TikTok).
