DLC & Release Update and Poll!

We've had some debate about how stucture is going to look for Release and DLCs in the future, and we'd love to hear what everyone here thinks!
Let's take a look at the main couple of routes we're considering:
Route #1 :
A full Release of 8-10 levels with a close to complete storyline. Smaller (2-4 level) DLCs that add to the Storyline, but don't stray too much off the original path. (In a nutshell: Quest-like DLCs adding to a Main Release eventually extending the storyline significantly)
Route #2 :
A Release of around 6-7 levels with bigger planned DLCs or "Chapters" of 6-7 levels that each extend the main storyline significantly. (Further spaced DLCs compared to route one. But also much better quality overall development for each individual "Chapter". Each "Chapter" basically acting as a whole new release)
