My apologies for the brief period of inaction.

I've been indisposed of for the past week due to my apartment being flooded some time while I was at work. Just came back to a swimming pool. Well, not quite. Turns out that the new management at the building happened to be doing some panel work and managed to catch it early. Early being that the apartments below me did not get flooded, which is a good thing.

I basically came home to two industrial sized dehumidifiers running in my flat to get the moisture out, while I mopped up the heavy stuff that remained. They ultimately have to tear up all the hardwood tiles in the apartment, but wanted to charge me 5 grand to replace them. Sufficed to say I'm a little more than disappointed.

My roommate has told them to tear out the tiles only, and that he would do the tiles himself; he used to do flooring a few years back, so all we need is the materals. Which I'm sure will be a lot less than 5 grand at least. In the meantime, I've been having to move stuff around the unit on my own, as my roommate is out of town doing training for his new job. 'Tis the reason why I've been so quiet this week. Which also sucks becuase the con in my city is this weekend, and this is a pretty shitty thing to overhang the weekends events. :<

But, I will manage, and there will be more arts, as I want to keep y'all happy. So, see you all in the next update. c:
