There's no place like home.

Hi everyone!

Life gets so wild with all the traveling; but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. I love waking up everyday and doing what I love all day long.

On our way back from Seattle, SeaTac went on a lockdown while we were in the food court so we got stuck there for a long time. The whole airport was at a stand still; no one could come in and no one could leave. Luckily, we were trapped in a place with endless snacks, and all was well.

Our flight ended up being hella delayed and didn’t get us back home until around 2am. My team in Colorado ended up having their flights canceled at the last minute. Unfortunately they didn’t get much sleep and it wasn’t until the next morning that they landed. It was a long journey home but so worth it!

We got to see so many friends in Seattle and some family too. I networked and made connections with so many new artists and individuals at the con. I have this week off from traveling and am so excited to catch up on some new and upcoming projects for you all.

Do you have any travel nightmare stories? If so, what was it that got you through it? Tell me your stories below; I love getting to know you all better and am so grateful for your support!

Yeah, there's more to the story considering the guy who made all the reservations didn't make his flight and hotels were booked because no one could leave. Let's just say it was a hell of an adventure trying to figure things out.

Dude... this is such a wild story. Ive heard a lot of 911 stories. But none like this

In 2001, after a year long tour at my first duty station in Korea, I was given the option to fly straight to my next duty station at Ft. Hood or I could fly to Hawaii free of charge (only the flight was free). Of course I chose Hawaii. I should mention that this was my 3rd time flying in a plane. Sometime during the flight while I'm resting, the stewardess taps me on the shoulder and asks if I'm in the military. A little confused I said yes at which time she asked me to follow her. Reluctantly and even more confused I follow her to the attendants area which separated first class from the rest of the plane. After what felt like 10 minutes of awkward silence, because she wouldn't explain what was going on, a short balding man came around the corner and started talking at me at hyper speed. Needless to say my level of confusion was off the charts. Basically, he wanted me to watch the cockpit door and if anyone went near it I was to take them down. I explained that I worked electronics and didn't know anything about wrestling people to the ground to which he said, "That's ok". 😐 So they sat me in first class to watch the door and told me I couldn't tell anyone why I was there. Cutting to the chase... I wanted to at least enjoy 1st class while I was there but couldn't because there happened to be a bathroom right next to the cockpit door, so every time someone got up for the bathroom I was on edge. After what seemed like forever we landed at a nearly deserted airport. I went to the USO and found everyone huddled around the t.v. with somber looks on their faces. I went to the t.v. and saw what I thought was a movie. It was a news report of a plane hitting one of the twin towers....I was in the air at the same time the events of 911 were taking place.
