Where We Are With Copyright Stuff
Added 2020-12-09 04:44:28 +0000 UTCJust wanted to make a quick post about the copyright issues I've been having recently and my odd but strangely effective solution. So, y'all probably know that shows have been getting hit with blocks for weeks but a few days after a video is blocked, it gets unblocked. The problem is the short period of time where videos are blocked but need to get posted to Patreon. My solution is to upload a version with a highlight reaction on Dailymotion and then, when the original video is unblocked, update the post with that video. What this means though, is that if anyone comments on the highlight version, that's not likely the version that will go up to YouTube. So, I would suggest that you guys hold off on comments (like save it on a document or even post in on Patreon and copy/paste later) and then post them once I update the Patreon post. You will always be notified when I update the posts and you can also tell when a post says "Note: All good now. No more highlight." At that point, it's free reign on comments! Most of you have pretty much figured this out with the latest DW, DWC, Mr. Robot and such episodes but I thought it would be good to have a specific post about it. I feel like this is just how it's gonna be for a bit. Also, I'm not switching Breaking Bad back to normal reactions since everyone seems to like the highlights better anyway!
