WWII Fallout Project - BETA Release

Hello everyone!

This page will be used as a Masterthread for all released content that has been made. New Content and Updates will be found here. 

I worked hard to make the process of installing as convenient as possible while keeping it very customizable and compatible.

REQUIREMENTS:

For now, you will still need JSRS mod for the NPC weapons to function.

Although optional, I recommend Endless Warfare (and it's DLC fix) - The battles are amazing and the way I intended this mod to be experienced, I've included a Patch for it.

WWII - NPC Weapons Pack - v2.0 (Contains all Weapons)

WWII - NPC Uniform Pack - v2.1 (Contains all Uniforms and Class setups)

(You need both files)

Run only one Fallout Faction Replacer at a time!

Don't run "USA Raiders" and "GER Raiders" at the same time!

INSTALLATION and LOADORDER

Install using a mod manager and order the files like this:


1.  Requirements (JSRS, EW)

2. NPC Weapons Pack

3. NPC Uniform Packs

4. Replacers

FINAL NOTES

I am excited to share this with you all - this Project is a product of countless hours of my free time and I am treating it as my gateway into GameDEV.

In the future I look to improve the Weapon side of things - Specifically I'd like to learn how to port animations! For now use BH weapons for your character!

Also the way files are set up right now is ideal for making quick replacers - all you need to do is to change the outfit data of NPCs.

Make sure to notify me of any bugs you find. Otherwise, enjoy the chaos!

I made the weapon pack on pre-nextgen and personally never updated, so not sure what happens if you install it on the new version. Weapons need a rework anyway, the current version uses JSRS sound mod as a requirement and I want to make it standalone.

Thank you for your help, I disabled the high quality and downloaded the optimized and it works great. This is an incredible mod, it blows away the one I was using. The German replacer for the Raiders is working beautifully, I haven't gotten to the BOS yet. Just curious if you plan to replace the Gunners too. Thanks again, I look forward to see what comes next.

I can't think of a reason they'd be naked other than models not being loaded. Also NPC need to respawn if they were spawned naked in order to have clothes. A body mod shouldn't conflict.

Yes, I followed your instructions to the letter. I am now wondering if any of the body mods can cause this as well.

Did you enable all of the necessary files (uniform pack, weapon pack, JSRS)? Also this is an older release so if you're using the new uniform packs it might not work. I am working on newer replacers as we speak.

The solution is probably right in front of my face, but, here I am, I started a new playthrough and the Minutemen are all naked. I have no other mod that edit them and I can't say about the BOS I didn't get even close to that far in.

It should if you load NPC uniform and weapon packs, JSRS mod and German raider replacer. Raiders need to respawn for the mod to take effect. Hope this helps :)

CTD when loading the game. I can't even load the intro with only the mods downloaded from here in the same order as in the installation guide and all the requirements. Play in virtual reality. Could it be for this reason? (Sorry, i do not speak english)

The powerarmor replacment is done by simply replacing the meshes - outside of .esp. everything else was way more complicated. But this way minutemen have no powerarmor. Eventually I will go with a different approach. PA was a last minute experiment haha

Also curious as to where you encounter the minutemen USA power armor as I have not encountered one in game. I am currently using soviets as BOS replacer, Im wondering if this just replaces instances of T60PA with the soviet version as ive come across a couple random NPC's wearing it ( installed mid play through). As with my last error reporting message I do not mean to sound like I am complaining, just relaying information. I cant wait to see what comes next!

I've encountered another error that I was able to fix using your standalone USA release. The flamethrower armor is missing the material, meshes and texture folders in the all in one pack. I was able to use the file explorer on vortex to drop the appropriate folders from the standalone USA uniforms into the all in one pack to get it to work.

Indeed. I dont think there is a faction fitting better than French resistance tho. I will let you know if I come up with better idea.

Thanks! I'm thinking Railroad should be some sort of French resistance faction. Would be fitting I think. Open to ideas :)

Truly a phenomenal mod coming from someone who almost has 500hours in f4 this is truly a breath of fresh air. I love how high quality the textures and guns are! This fits perfectly with the BH and Anotherone weapon mods on nexus!

I made a mistake! the texture paths were set wrong in the .bgsm. Thank you for your investigation, it made the fixing process very quick. Download the "WWII - NPC Uniform Pack - v2.1" for the fixed Power armors. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I do not pretend to know exactly what am doing troubleshooting in this manner, just noticed some difference between them that may be causing the issues I am having. It could more than likely be something on my end, as I generally run a few power armor mods, but have seen no obvious conflicts. I tried removing all power armor mods and enabling this on a clean test save I keep but with no success. The standard infantry armors and weapons are working fine for me. Just having difficulty with the Power Armors for the Soviet and American.

Truly amazing work, have been looking for something like this for a long time! I do not wish to sound ungrateful or complaining as I know this took a lot of work on your end. I am experiencing pink textures on Soviet and American power armor. I tried on multiple factions, and the error persisted. German seems to be working on all factions. I dig into the mod files on some on the uniform pack. Noticed Soviet and American folders in NPC Uniform Pack v2.0/materials/soviet/powerarmor do not have all of the files the german does. Example Wher_PA_arm_Glow.bgsm. this is for all parts of that armor set. Possibly a missing texture in the soviet power armor folder as well.
