I may be cooking something (early sketches and ideas)

I've been focused on doing something I always wanted to do: a cartoony superhero girl. I thought about it and I said to myself "well, not everyone would be turned on by a cartoony body, what if I also do a more defined one?" And that's basically how I came up with everything, this is Ruby and her lovely friend Bee. ---- RUBY ---- Ruby is a sassy and cocky 7 year old girl who lives with her parents on a nice neighborhood. She has just started primary school and while she's not the most intelligent in her class, this doesn't prevent her from standing out by her very strong personality, trying to steal the spotlight with her cocky attitude and arrogant comments. She's not always like this, when she feels comfortable or having a nice day she treats others properly (doesn't happen very often). Color red goes along with excitement, courage, energy, action, that's why red is her favorite color! Loves combining red clothing with her inherited blonde hair and beautiful blue eyes, but that doesn't mean she's the perfect stereotype of a blonde girl, as she usually lets herself go and eats a little too much, revealing a plump belly for everyone to see. One day by accident, she discovered that she had a very weird and rare ability, as she could make her body very voluptuous, emphasizing all her traits, gaining a lot of weight, height, but also strength! Not only that, but she also has the amazing ability of flying across the sky, she just doesn't know that yet. ---- BEATRICE ---- Beatrice (called Bee by her friends) is a sweet 7 year old girl who loves to smile and make her friends happy, even if she needs to get serious to achieve that. Lives with her father, older brother and mother, who made her bee costume without even knowing her daughter would use it to fight criminals. She loves color yellow; happiness, joyfulness, energy, positivity is what describes her best. At a very young age she discovered her special ability of making her little body voluptuous, so with a lot of practice and confidence she started using her powers more and more, even managing to fly and started to fight crime with her alter ego. --- STORY ---- The only story I have written so far is for the "first" part of the story or the "first" comic, how the girls met and how they got along. On her way home from school, in the middle of a park, a strange man rushed to Ruby. She was about to get kidnapped, but as she was about to finally use her powers, out of nowhere a huge black ass appeared flying and knocked the kidnapper out. She couldn't believe it, there was another girl the same age as her having the same abilities. The girl named Beatrice asked Ruby if she was okay, Ruby was just shocked and wanted to see that heroic girl later again. Beatrice promised that she would look for her tomorrow and flew away. The next day, Ruby went to the same park waiting for that girl to appear flying once again, but she saw her walking and smiling, looking like a normal 7 year old girl. After they had another exchange of dialogue, Ruby presented her new friend to her mother who was close by. She was happy for her daughter as she saw her finally having fun and smiling to a girl her age, something that didn't happen very often. Ruby's mother agreed on the idea of her daughter visiting her new friend, she was handled Beatrice's mother phone number and everything went just well. Once they arrived at Beatrice's house, Ruby met Beatrice's mother, a very nice housewife who knitted dresses and such. Both girls went upstairs and started showing her powers to each other, sharing information and life experiences. Beatrice told Ruby that everyone call her "Bee" as a diminutive of her name, also she told Ruby that her mother made her superhero costume, and she wanted Ruby to have one too. Oh and they also had sex, a lot of sex. As the night approached, Ruby needed to go back home, but she was very happy to have finally meet a lovely new best friend that she could relate to. ---- NAME ---- I still haven't decided a name for their super hero alter egos. These are the drafts I came up with Ruby superhero name: Pinky Pink Girl Gem Vermella (red in Galician) Bee superhero name: Black Bee Stingirl Joy Jaune (yellow in French) I like the color names in different languages, I just think they're neat, what do you think? ---- REFERENCES ---- As for references go, I was inspired by loud house for the designs, obviously not trying to make a 1 to 1 copy of it. Lola Loud was a big reference for Ruby. At the start I wanted to give Ruby orange clothing but it didn't look too well so I changed it to red/pink. Beatrice was inspired by Cricket from loud house, but I came up with most of her design by my own. It was HARD trying to come up with a good looking hairstyle for her, but I think it looks good now!
