Glad to see Mark again, one of the more natural deliveries in this show imo.
Oh my god, they were roommates.
“Methuselah” is a 10/10 name and apparently a real one, as my phone predicted it as I was typing.
I like Anael.
Overkill on the Mary stuff, for real. It stuck out so much that it pulled me out of the show.
Joshua forged it after he fell? I thought Cas mentioned the god-seeking aspect of it before the angels fell. So is this a different one? I’m confused about the necklace.
“Come on Sam, nobody stays dead anymore, you know that” lmao.
F Mary I guess, eh.
Yeah, aside from Nick seemingly “waking him up”, it seems like this was a pretty simple spell to bring Lucifer back, feels a little hokey tbh. But Luci being involved for the end of the season makes sense, I guess.
Wasn’t much on this episode, but the guy who played Methuselah was also Hank in New Tales of the Borderlands.
17!

So much could be said. I didn't like the idea of what might have happened to Mary. I do think more was needed to support character actions in some things. Why is the Entity not doing anything about Lucifer being awake? It got all bothered about Cas being awake, but is totally quiet about Lucifer? Why was he messing with Cas, Jack and Heaven when he had an awake Lucifer to deal with?
Nice that Jack was able to get rid of him so quickly though.
I think we can feel better about Sam's noggin now that Jack has healed it. Likely healed all the damage from all the other times he's had his bell rung.
I'm still salty over the whole Nick being alive thing. It's just so absurd that it's messing with my enjoyment of this season. It's getting better with each re-watch though, but still going to bug me.
I do think the current showrunners are cutting too many corners for my liking.
We'll see where this all goes though.
