300. Fuck me running.
Glad we’re all (sort of) on the same page now so we can get intros like this. I’d take the dragon’s breath too, shit. Looks cool af.
Seeing that poster is enough to make me need to see Beetlejuice the Musical again.
These boys drive the loudest car on the face of the planet and they didn’t hear that thing start from outside.
I’M SORRY. IS THE VILLAIN OF THIS EPISODE JOHN WAYNE FUCKING GACY?
Bruh. What is happening right now.
Someone is credited as playing John Wayne Gacy in Supernatural. What the fuck.
WAIT WHAT
Never really understood what you meant with John having the most anticlimactic death in television history. I thought it was done decently, and the suddenness was the point.
Wait the vessel thing is a blood thing, right? Did John just come back to say yes to Michael and throw himself in that box as an act of redemption? This ep is wild.
Wow. That scene between Sam and John broke me. A lot of personal stuff going on, and this hit close to home. Even if it hadn’t though, brilliantly done.
What if 1983 + how ever many years since she came back Mary and 2003 John smashed and she got pregnant. What the fuck would happen then.
OH NICE. This is a fun concept. I understand it now, with this being the reason to see past folks. Love it.
No super strength-possessing being ever just snaps folks’ necks, eh. Lots of moments of full control followed by launching them into tables.

OH YEAH remember seventy years ago when this episode was about John Wayne Gacy? Bonkers.
I don’t think this episode makes it into my top ten or anything, but I really enjoyed it. I feel like season fourteen desperately needed something like this. A bit of a breath of fresh air, and also some reminders of why we’re attached to these characters. A really really good palate cleanser. I’m ready to move on with the season. But what a ride man.
Both Eilot — the “those guys hunt monsters” guy, and Max — the girl who stole Baby, were on The 100. The former as Aden, one of the trainees to be Commander due to him being born with nightblood, and the latter being one of the bodies (Brooke) for Josephine Lightbourne.
