Honestly the first actress made such a little impact on me that I forgot she wasn’t this actress, LOL. No shade to the old one but this characterization of her I think is better. She seemed a bit like a stereotypical ivy-league mom in her one appearance in S7 iirc, so this intellectual badass is way cooler imo. The auction was fun too! Hopefully a bit more purgatory stuff soon, I like that they’re doing flashbacks to tell it. Let’s us stew with some unknowns, but also I feel like if most of the season had the only two main cast members not interact, it would feel very very weird. Plus the bond between them is the core of the show. It would be an interesting way to test that bond though, for sure. Alfie/Samandriel is Matt, the son from 1x8 Bugs! Look at him all grown up, working at Weiner Hut, lol. He’s one of the reused I remember most too, along with Benny. 17!
