A bit of a rocky start imo, but I’m here for the mystery. Seeing Dean in suburbia is super weird, eh. Big F to his and Lisa’s neighbours. I do enjoy though, that the “first era” of the show started off with us following Sam as he lives a normal life before it gets supernatural and Dean comes in. This new “second era” starts off with the inverse. Another small thing I liked were the shots that didn’t line up properly when Dean was searching the garage. Kind of implies that something isn’t entirely right about what’s going on. I’ll always pop for this actor playing Azazel, bro. I love him so much, even if he’s a hallucination. The guy who played Mark, one of the new Campbells, was on Flashpoint, but he was also on The Tomorrow People where he played a character named Coach Tanner. That made me giggle. 17!

I HATED it at first watch to be honest (although it had several great episode---one of my very favorites actually!.) I can appreciate it much more now. Although I totally agree they shouldn't have shown Sam at the end of s5 finale. I think it gets much stronger on the second half of the season. Honestly, I disliked s7 more. (sorry to give you that to look forward to lol) although there are some really good episodes in s7 too. I think part of it is that they are just so different from the larger story arc we experienced in 1-5, at first it seems like a bit of a let down. But once we as viewers and the showrunners get into the groove again, it is totally worth the ride. =)
