Supernatural 5x22 "SWAN SONG" SEASON 5 FINALE UNCUT Reaction

Yeah I normally am not too big a fan of the voice over, but I enjoy chuck so I let it slide lol Look forward to seeing how the next season compare to these first 5

The Chuck narration and the montage of memories get me right in the feels. That was the moment that I fell in love with Baby. I now have a huge poster of it hanging over my couch, and I named my motorcycle after it. I got to do a photoshoot in one of the Impala's that follow the SPN conventions around, and it was glorious. :p Dean saying he wasn't going to let Sam die alone made me ugly cry the first time I watched this episode XD I can't even explain why, but for some reason Lucifer's "A fiddle of gold against your soul says I'm better than yooooouuuuu....." line is my favorite thing he ever says. Well everyone can always agree that Seasons 4 and 5 are dope, but I'm really excited to see what you think of each season from here. The opinions tend to be much more split on them. Great reaction as always! Sending happy thoughts <3

The highest rated episode in the entire series, and — in my opinion — for good reason. Even the Road So Far segment made me emotional. What a recap. Some thoughts I had throughout this episode: ∙ Did they just drain a few innocent people possessed by demons for all that blood? LOL. I know it’s for the greater good, but damn. ∙ Sam telling Dean to go live some “normal, apple pie life” was a lovely callback to the pilot, where Dean questioned if that was what Sam was going to do, to which Sam replied “not normal. Safe.” ∙ I like that they did the goodbye scenes with Sam outside and then we actually get to see the follow up scene that happens because they didn’t succeed. Normally those characters would just like, lights-down exit from the show and that’s their wrap. We actually see them go “well fuck” and I love that. ∙ Wait, in an earlier episode didn’t Sam say that Dean hooked up with his prom date, on prom night? Did Dean smash a demon? ∙ “Why Lawrence?” “It all has to end where it started, I guess.” FUCK. I personally think the Chuck VO works well here, I think it’s a cool way to frame the episode. I do agree that the apocalypse happening in the background was sort of low-key, but I don’t think shit start getting truly wack until near the end. This episode is a piece of art. I’m kind of disappointed because I know I won’t be able to articulate all of my thoughts about it properly. And “what’s next?” is truly the question man! We enter a new chapter now, so to speak. I’m excited to see how you feel about it. This episode features so many characters already addressed that I had to dig for this one. Sal Moriarty, the first owner of the Impala, played the warden of Iron Heights prison in season one of the Flash. 17!
