Solid finale!

The end was definitely a WTF moment! Lots of questions to take into season 3. Season 2 has been really good, and I can't wait for your review and 'awards'! I really enjoyed season 3 although it was so long. I believe FOX TV kept asking for extra episodes, so the writers obliged but it does mean these extra episodes which many call filler episodes do go off on a tangent now and then away from the main season 3 plot line. I didn't mind that, however, as these extra episodes allow us to delve more into other characters and learn more about Lucifer's world. The main plot line was not a favourite for some Lucifans (you may see why later) but personally, I liked it, but I love the angst, emotional stuff and the drama so it was good for me, and I think Lucifer does continue to learn more about himself during season 3 through all of the drama to come. Also, it's 24 episodes and the two extra bonus episodes originally filmed to be in the next FOX TV season which of course never happened as you know with the cancellation leading to the #SaveLucifer developments. Those 24+2 episodes mean LOTS MORE LUCIFER- and I am never going to complain about that! There are some dramatic, fun, hilarious and deeply emotional episodes to come. I am ready for the next month of watching with you. It's going to be great! C x

Ohhh, Chloe does know who he really is, the person/soul inside anyway. Can't say how or why, as it would be a spoiler. And it appears Luci must have been close to Chloe when he got whacked and presumably drugged. It appears the healing when he's away from Chloe only happens when he is conscious.... hence why his skin is badly sun burnt.
Season 3 is the last with Fox. The idiots then canceled the show on the most monumental cliff hanger you have ever seen. So the LuciFans mounted a campaign to bring it back and Netflix picked it up. The real season 3 finale is episode 24. Then when everyone thought it was over, they already had two episodes in the can for season 4, so they rearranged them as bonus episodes after the season 2 finale. They are WORTH watching in order, though the timeline of the two bonus episodes is not congruent but they fill in story.
And for the record, TV seasons were always 24-26 episodes. Until about the early 2010's when some would split into two half seasons of 13. Then some shows called each half season a whole one.... It has to do with the broadcast TV schedule, and Christmas/New Years holidays and spring break - subtract these "time off" periods and the season comprises about 26 weeks.
