2025-10-03 17:52:36 +0000 UTCI remember seeing this episode when I was a kid and thinking it was waaaay earlier in the Johto seasons, hence why I’m surprised Bulbassur was around as long as he was. I swore I thought surely Bulbasaur still wasn’t around by the time Chikorita evolved into Bayleef. Oh he was … huh. Oh well, he’s still a good boy and I loved this episode.

2025-09-01 06:19:00 +0000 UTCAnother really funny review. The humor has been great recently. As someone that hated Ash dropping his team as a kid, it really was the only natural direction to go. Ash’s Johto team might be his weakest in his entire run, and it’s because they got completely overshadowed by his Kanto team. I just wish they didn’t end up dropping old Pokemon entirely in the later seasons. They don’t need to be the spotlight, but giving them matches was a lot of fun in the BF and Sinnoh era, and they just never did it again. Such a shame
