Contrary motion creates beautifully complex voice leading that can elevate your vocal sound to a whole new dimension. However, the way collegiate courses teach this can be extremely academic and arduous.

This video uses a practical approach that anyone can try, and while contrary motion sounds complex, it actually opens up most harmonic combinations, so it's actually very friendly and creative to try!

This could be considered Part 2 to the previous tutorial that focused on stacked parallel motion harmonies, which I would highly recommend diving into first if you haven't already!
