a journal-type thing could be cool, or maybe something like one big ‘making of/retrospective’ piece after you finish an episode, or something like that

I agree with everyone else so far, I don't mind payin for you to go on a little break. You work super hard and I don't want you to have to deal with a big burnout! Take my money and enjoy it. Journals sound awesome! I'm always curious about your process, and personally would enjoy a bit more info on it.

In regards to the progress report, I think doing a bit of a deep dive on how you go about making your videos would be a great idea! Gives anyone who may want to do anything similar dome stepping stones, so to speak. Really looking forward to the upcoming video!

I don’t contribute to your Patreon for “at least one video a month.” I do it because you’re incredibly talented, a hard worker, make amazing content, and I want to support that. If you don’t want to charge for next month because you don’t feel comfortable with doing that, then you do you, but I am more than comfortable supporting you during feast and famine because I want to keep seeing your work when it’s appropriately complete. Getting support on Patreon isn't like getting a salary working a regular job. It's not about how productive you are on a given month. Personally, I view my contribution as a way to say "thanks for what you do!", not "I'm giving you money this month because I expect you to produce something this month". So yeah, no issue with being charged for December regardless of how "productive" you might be, that's not the point of Patreon for me.
