The currency conundrum!
Added 2016-01-14 13:38:16 +0000 UTCHey there guys, I know that this video isn't the most exciting, but I honestly wish that I had known all of this information before coming to China, it really would have saved me a lot of trouble and actually a lot of money too (especially when I realised that all of the South African cash I had with me was worthless and I had no choice but to go to Hong Kong to change it.. and then have to apply for a new visa... which meant buying a new air ticket home as one of the visa requirements..). Lessons learned the hard way, and I hope that I can help any of you who wish to visit China, avoid those mishaps.

South African cash was also a nightmare for my friends in Taiwan. They ended up going to black market traders to get a terrible rate in order to get NTD. Thus is life...
