I Love Victoria
Added 2023-12-29 20:10:04 +0000 UTCI’m rereading When The Cat Becomes The Mouse right now and it makes me love Victoria all the more than I did before. I always felt she got the raw end of the deal. I mean it was beyond obvious to me that in the original story that she wasn’t Jame’s mate. She was a woman lost in her grief of losing her coven and her beloved sister and attached herself to James a vampire that was obsessed with her because of her gift. The way he went off on his own after Bella and didn’t even care that his live was in danger was more proof of that. Victoria forming the newborn army to kill the Cullens was the only logical outcome. Even if she was being manipulated by James she lost her purpose in life. Of course she would want revenge. The Cullens were cruel for not killing her as well. That’s at least what I think. What about you guys? Did Victoria deserve better than to be portrayed as a woman who was evil after everything she went through?
